The course activities are pulled from Khan Academy, Master Math, & Flipped Math
This is a 180-day course that gives you margin for revision and mastery. Each lesson for the day is numbered 1 – 180. Click on the underlined links to access the activities for each lesson.
The following gives you an overview of what sites you will be using:
KHAN: Completely online. This course rests on Khan, so you will do the entire grade 7 course. Sign up here.
MASTER MATH (MM): These supplementary printables will be done every other day = 40 worksheets with videos. There are online quizzes and extra links, but these can be done only if you score less than 80% on a worksheet. Let each answer = 1 mark, then total how many you got correct.
FLIPPED MATH (FM): These supplementary printables include 15-unit reviews, which form part of the 30-Day Assignment Challenge towards the end of the year. These will help you fill in any gaps, and challenge you to do a little research
WHAT YOU NEED:
- The goal charts. Click to print on both sides. Set your lesson numbers for math each day. These will help you keep track of your progress.
- Have a notebook ready to write notes down when watching the videos and for working out problems.
- The printed worksheets and assignments, which you will find in each lesson.
*(All MASTER MATH (MM) and FLIPPED MATH (FM) activities are printables. You do not have to print out the answer keys. Only print the sections indicated. KHAN is completely online). - A file for printed worksheets and assignment.
- A Khan Academy account, which you will sign in to keep record of your progress.
