Diary Entry 5: Vision

Vision provokes discipline. If you struggle with being disciplined, you need a vision.-Vlad Savhuk

We read in scripture that without vision we perish. So we are told to: Look (aim your vision) unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.Heb 12:2

Daily fellowship with the Lord aims our vision, opening our eyes to His will. Looking unto Jesus enables us to see so that we grow in faith and submit to His Word. He becomes our vision, so our lives is not our own but a vessel to the leading of the Holy Spirit.

He transforms you so that you would place more value on His vision than your own. Hence your way of life and everyday living will also be transformed as you hone in on the Lord.

His will is His vision. He is pro-vision. In other words He is FOR His vision, so He will equip you, build you and supply your every need for the vision. He has the camera lens, and you direct your vision or focus to what He is looking at. Look to Jesus. He has the omega shot, and you train your eyes to aim where He is shooting.

Present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.– Rom 12:1-2

He has given you this vision, which is his will. It is the ministry of the Holy Spirit, whether it be in your home with your kids, or where ever you may go.  Your vision is foremost Him and the rest will be follow.
